Don’t waste your Time by waiting for a Sign

Your own fears can be your biggest enemy. Don’y wast your time by waiting for a sign. be Proactive

Few years ago I was afraid; I was avoiding taking risks or doing things that could get me out of my comfort zone. I froze when I faced my fears and waited for sign (or help) until I could actually move forward. It was easier for me to take decisions while other made it for me. Don’t get me wrong, I was always motivated and always very ambitious, but played very safe and didn’t dare at all. Until I decided to change it.

Playing safe may be easier, but it won't get you to where you want to be

The header on my website says- “The one the dares to dream”. It doesn’t mean that I am not afraid anymore, it does mean that I am facing my fears. When was the last time you let yourself dream? Did you think after “how can I achieve that”? or just left it as a dream?

don't let your fears take you down

don’t let your fears take you down

Here’s an exercise that I do with myself anytime when I am afraid of doing something. ask yourself these questions:

  • What am I afraid of?
  • What will be considered as huge failure?
  • What’s the worse thing that can happened to me if I do that?
  • What will happened if I fail? is it big failure? Will it cost the death of someone?
  • What am I going to lose if I don’t do it?
  • What will I win if I do it?
You can make your own changes. Just stop waiting for a sign

You can make your own changes. Just stop waiting for a sign

After you dared yourself to do it, give yourself feedback-

  • Was it that bad?
  • Am I proud of yourself?
  • Can I do it again? Better?

You will be surprise how it will become easier with time and I can promise you that you will start enjoying it and

you will feel so much better after

you will feel so much better after

When my friend Kfir Ben Simon came to visit me in London, I decided to shoot this video (and photos) with him to emphasise that fear and also the lost of not acting fast and dealing with it. I chose the song Waiting for a Sign by Radiohead drummer Philip Selway and I hope that after reading this and seeing the video, you won’t wait for signs anymore and you will be more proactive in your life for better achievements.

Here are some backstage photos from my shoot with my dear friend Kfir.

Very cool! I enjoyed this a lot. I have some similar themes on my blog, but I have to say–your photos accompanied this wonderfully.

When I saw your Instagram, I THOUGHT this was going to be you running, looking for a literal sign and realizing they weren’t there, so you keep running.

Hmmmm. I think I’m going to write a blog post inspired by yours. I’ll link to yours. Nice job!

I love your post….!!!! well done youtube vid. Reminds me of my visit to Kauai in November 2014 of recent and I had the realization that I needed to stop running from myself. But I did have a sign of that. My foot injury which actually stopped me from my love of running. And it took me to realize that thats what I was doing. So now I’m facing it all and putting the importance into being myself and expressing how I need through my creativity. I posted a small beach sunset vid on instagram #mylotusflare and this so reminded of of that time. I love your video.. Thanks for sharing and creating this beautiful masterpiece.
