And then we met The Queen
Anyone who knows me is aware of my biggest love of all Izo, who has been important part of my life for more than 4 years, moved with me from Tel-Aviv to London and since we’ve met we are the unbreakable- tag team- Izo & Ido.
Few weeks ago Izo was invited by Trusted House Sitters to join their table at the Animal Hero Awards (hosted by Daily Mirror and RSPCA). Izo wasn’t nominated for the joy her brings to people’s life on social media, however we were very honored to be in an event that cherish and give respect to people that have dedicated their life to help animals. Dress code for the event is lounge suit but Izo had two outfits (dogs’ Tuxedos).
Upon arrival Izo also went to his groomer “Peter’s Posh pets” for his personal touch.
The event took place at “The Ballroom- Grosvenor House” which was never so dog friendly as it was last night and with such a beautiful crowd; I guess that when you have big heart and love for animals it makes you look better #TryThatToo.
Izo and I were very well welcomed by our new friends at Trusted House Sitters and after few drinks at the reception we’ve joined them for dinner; Even Izo was very pleased with the dinner (and actually Loved it) that was provided to him Natural Instincts Food- liver treats was his favorite.
The beautiful (and talented) Amanda Holden hosted the ceremony which started with two songs (I have nothing, hallelujah) by Alexandra Burke.
Right after Alexandra’s powerful performance, one by one, heroes were announced on stage by local celebrities and event’s sponsors. From The caring Animal of the year to Celebrity Animal Supporter etc.
Our special moment of the evening was when we met the legendary Brian May (and even got a selfie with him) who has been part of my life soundtrack.
This is definitely going to be a night to remember and heartwarming to see so many good people in one place. looking forward Izo and mine next adventures.
